NT Open

This is usually held in Darwin and Alice Springs in alternate years, in the April school holidays.

There are singles and doubles events for juniors, seniors and veterans and there is usually a "B" grade event as well as an "open" event for seniors.

World Table Tennis Youth Contender Darwin

TTNT has an agreement with TTA to host this World Table Tennis Junior event annually in Darwin for 3 years, subject to approval of the event in the ITTF calendar each year. https://cdn.revolutionise.com.au/gallery/xkcogrq1mln5efzl.jpg

It is held in late September/early October each year.

In 2024, it will included singles events for both males and females in the <11, <13, <15, <17 and <19 years age groups, as well as mixed doubles for <15 & <19 years. An international Junior Training Camp is also planned in 2024 in the week prior to the tournamenet, subject to final approval by the ITTF. Advanced Umpire Training will also be held in conjunction with the event.

Players are eligible to earn world ranking points in their age group.

Previous world junior circuit events have been held in Darwin in 2019, 2022 and 2023, with participation from: Australia; New Zealand; Singapore; Indonesia; Malaysia; Hong Kong (CHN); Macau (CHN); Korea; China; Chinese Taipei; India; USA; Canada

Para Events

An international para event, the Oceania Para Championships, was last held in Darwin as a part of the May 2019 Arafura Games. Alice Springs Masters Games

This is held every second year in Alice Springs ( 2024, etc). It includes individual events for seniors.

Hosting Australian National Events

TTNT hosts Australian national events in rotation with other jurisdictions.

The Australian Veteran's Championships was last held in Darwin in October 2022 at the Netball Stadium at Marrara.

The NT last hosted the Australian Juniors Championships in Alice Springs in 2016.
